During December and January our blackberries are plump and juicy and ready for picking! Of course you can also purchase freshly picked from our shop (subject to availability).
Blackberries are a wonderful healthy addition to sweet and savoury dishes, or perfect for a snack at any time. They are a good source of vitamins A, C (needed for the growth and repair of tissues in the body) and K (important for helping your blood to clot). They also contain minerals such as potassium (helping to regulate blood pressure), manganese (involved in the regulation of brain and nerve function), magnesium and copper. Blackberries also contain dietary fibre, which is important for a healthy bowel.
