Chappies is a 4th generation fruit growing business well known for our U-pick cherries, raspberries and blackberries. Our family has been growing fruit for over 125 years – surely testament to sustainable farming!

We farm 50 hectares at Silvan in the beautiful Yarra Valley (in the foothills of the Dandenong  Ranges of Victoria), a one hour drive from the centre of Melbourne.  Buy freshly picked cherries and berries from our shop, or you can pick your own raspberries & blackberries.  Visit us at 21 Parker Road Silvan Vic 3795.

During the season (late November) we’re open every day (except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day) from 9am until 5pm. Last berry U-pick tickets are sold at 4pm each day, which allows enough time for you to pick your fruit before we close at 5pm. There’s no need to book your tickets.
